RESTORATIVE YIN
Restorative Yin Yoga with Reiki Healing is a mindful, deliberate practice that opens and re-aligns the connective tissues of the body. Holding poses cultivates a peaceful and meditative experience through stillness and self-reflection. It improves flexibility by softening and releasing the body’s holding patterns. All poses are done seated or lying down.
Props are used for comfort, and movements are slow and gentle. This class offers the healing powers of Reiki Healing during Savasana.

Combined with a guided Yoga Nidra Meditation. Melissa will lead you on a journey to renewal through Yoga Nidra and a Sound Bath. Yoga Nidra is an ancient sleep-based meditation technique that has the power to take you to the innermost, deepest levels of relaxation where your whole body and being are permeated by peace of mind and profound stillness.

YOGA NIDRA MEDITATION
Come lay down, listen and let go. I'll guide you through the five layers of the energy body known as the Koshas, to bring you into a deep state of relaxation and awareness. In the stillness, there's the opportunity to remember your potential, to shift your perspective and to remember your heart's desire.

Yoga Nidra offers a safe space for you to explore what you need in the moment, setting an intention, as well as an opportunity to work on releasing any long-held emotions. All you have to do is lie down and be. It is said that 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is like getting 3 to 4 hours of deep sleep.
